“I have worked in beauty now for over 35 years having gained numerous qualifications, certificates and credentials across advanced treatments, product lines and alternative therapies.

Laurabella, is for me, the coming together of years of accomplished treatment refinement, persistent investment in technologies, education and staff contentment and a determination to bring something truly unique and wonderful to everyone that walks through our door. Our treatments are unparalleled and the product of years of polishing to achieve perfection. Our staff are highly skilled and uphold our ethos that ‘every client deserves a five-star experience’.

Named after my two daughters: Laura & Annabel; Laurabella encompasses the feeling of unwavering love a mother feels for her daughters. The last 18 years of business have demonstrated we put that same energy and love into what we do.

THE HISTORY OF LAURABELLA

In 2002 Laurabella was a one-room enterprise in the spare bedroom of Emma’s home. Fast forward to 2005, we were in the process of transforming the old Coach House at Strattons Farms into the spa you see today. Built on love, passion and a want to bring something unique and different to the community, Laurabella, The Barn was complete and ready to provide unrivalled quality and services to Hampshire, Berkshire and beyond.

Whilst a lot has changed in the past 19 years, the beauty of our natural surroundings here at Laurabella will remain as spectacular as ever. Overlooking The Downs and encompassed by farmland, Laurabella’s unique placement within the local vernacular has cemented our position as a celebrated individual day spa and salon for years to come.

MEET THE TEAM

  • Emma has over 35 years qualified CIDESCO International Diploma, BABTAC and CIBTAC.

    Emma is renowned for her powerful massages and enthusiasm for skincare and facials. Emma trained as a Sound Therapist and often blends her treatments with different therapies to create a complete holistic approach to relaxation. Emma now offers mentoring alongside Sound Therapy Treatments to help with ailments such as anxiety, grief or emotional/mental pain.

  • as the Spa Manager of Laurabella, Tatjana is the person that keeps the spa running to the high standards our clients expect and beyond! Training of therapists, organisation of parties and private hires, general day to day running of the spa are all duties achieved seamlessly behind the scenes. Tatjana has been at Laurabella for over 10 years, as well as being a fully qualified beauty therapist, she holds a degree in spa management and numerous other qualifications. She really is the backbone of the spa.

  • Laura’s original training was in Architecture but she found her passion for Marketing and Design through her studies. Having completed additional qualifications in 2020 for Eyelash Extensions and nails, Laura can be found working in the spa throughout the year or busy making fun posts for our social media and website! Laura loves to hear your ideas for the spa - why not stop her for a chat when you’re next in!

  • Chloe has an extremely loyal following here at Laurabella, having worked for us for over 6 years now. Having just returned from maternity leave, Chloe works Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as weekends. With a fantastic firm pressure of massage, quickness with waxing and attention to detail with eye treatments, its clear to see why Chloe is in popular demand! Chloe loves to offer advice and makes wonderful treatment and product plans for her clients to see the maximum impact of her treatments. We are so glad to have Chloe back in the team!

  • Minori has become something of a massage guru at Laurabella with full qualifications in beauty as well as Sports Massage and therapy. Minori has a firm pressure and offers Sports Massage which is ideal for aching joints, muscle pain and skeletal issues.

  • Faron has recently joined the Laurabella team as a self-employed beauty therapist bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all things luxury beauty! Faron’s background is in spa treatments but has also dedicated part of her career to becoming a senior hair stylist, making her signature brow treatment something of a work of art! Faron’s treatments are all signature to her at Laurabella, and are not coved by either gift vouchers or memberships at this time! Make sure to say hello on your next visit!

ACUPUNCTURE PRACTITIONER

  • We have a motto at Laurabella, if we can’t fix something… we know a man that can! and that’s Richard. He has become renowned in the local area for his acupuncture treatments and the results gained with them. From hormonal imbalances, infertility, menopause and anxiety/depression, Richard has provided amazing results. Working alongside our massage courses, acupuncture can often be a great option to speed up recovery of muscles in pain.

AROMATHERAPIST & REFLEXOLOGIST

  • Tania qualified as a reflexologist in 2013 and as an aromatherapist in 2020. Tania has been a member of the Laurabella team providing therapies since 2013 so a lengthy time! Her favourite treatment is aromatherapy “I love working with aromatherapy oils as they are so powerful, they help me do my job and the blends smell absolutely amazing”. An interesting fact about Tania, she is a Silver Swan Ballet Dancer and has a very adorable sausage dog called Billy!

RECEPTIONIST

  • Lana is a new member of the reception team and will be working predominantly evenings throughout the week! Hardworking and extremely friendly, Lana is here to answer any questions you may have and assist with bookings!

  • Meet Monika, our new Reiki practitioner at Laurabella, available on Sundays. With a deep understanding of energy healing, Monika offers personalised Reiki sessions designed to reduce stress, restore balance, and promote overall well-being. Her calming presence and expertise make each session a peaceful and rejuvenating experience, perfect for those seeking holistic healing and relaxation.
