Introduction

Welcome to Laurabella Ltd. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Booking and Treatment Policy

  • Treatment Booking: All treatment bookings must be made in advance by phone at 01635 291211, email at kingsclere@laurabella.co.uk, our app, or online. You must be over 16 years old to make a booking. We recommend booking treatments as early as possible before your visit. Laurabella does not guarantee treatment availability at any time. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse to secure any reservation. If we indicate that we will not accept a booking or your presence within our spa, we reserve the right to cancel any bookings you have made or refuse entry. If we do so, we will refund any payment made, but no compensation will be given.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations: Cancellations under ALL CIRCUMSTANCES are only possible with at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice for any reason, Laurabella requires a full deposit of the cost of the treatment. A ‘no-show’ will also be considered a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, and Laurabella will require a full deposit for this as well. All deposits and payments for late cancellations will not be deducted from any follow-up treatments booked and will be seen as a separate booking.

  • Amendments: Any amendments to bookings should be done by the lead guest unless there is a substantial reason otherwise.

4. Moving a Booking

  • Rescheduling: Moving an appointment can be done up to 24 hours before the original booking date and time. This must be done over the phone at 01635 291211. Any amendments or rescheduling of appointments with less than 24 hours notice will also be considered a late cancellation and the incurred fees listed above will remain.

5. Courses

  • Course Bookings: Courses are booked in blocks of nine (with the ninth being free) and can be paid for either in half or in full at the time of purchase. Courses are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other treatments or vouchers. Courses are also specific to Laurabella staff only, we unfortunately can not provide courses for a mixture of our employed and self-employed therapists.

6. Deposits

  • Deposit Requirements: All treatments scheduled for weekend dates, as well as any treatment lasting more than an hour or costing upwards of £100 on any date throughout the week, will require a 50% deposit to be made. On payment of the deposit, your booking will be secure.

  • Changes and Cancellations: Any changes made to bookings with less than 24 hours' notice of the arranged time will forfeit the deposit completely. Before this time, we can move your treatment to an alternative time or cancel the booking. We cannot refund to an alternative party or card. Laurabella retain the right to ask for either a 50% or full deposit depending on the circumstance of the booking.

  • Deposit Conditions: In the event a deposit is not made, Laurabella reserves the right to cancel bookings and deny access. Laurabella has sole discretion on the terms and amount of deposit that may be required for booking. Frequent no-shows or lateness may eventually require a full deposit.

7. Use of Phorest Booking System

  • Data Handling: We use Phorest as our booking system. Phorest holds all the information collected for online bookings, including relevant card details. As part of our booking terms of service, a deposit is required, and customers must agree to have this information stored in case of a late cancellation or no-show. We never share any of your personal data; it is all held securely by Phorest.

8. Health Information

  • Legal Requirements: We are required by law to hold onto your health information as we cannot provide a service without it. This information is essential for us to ensure your safety and well-being during treatments.

  • Patch Tests: We hold data for patch tests, which must be updated every six months (at the client’s responsibility) and repeated if we change suppliers (our responsibility).

Spa Facility Use

  • Hot Tub and Sauna: Use of the hot tub and infrared sauna is limited to the designated session times. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by Laurabella staff. Use of these facilities is at your own risk, and Laurabella is not responsible for any injuries or adverse reactions that may occur. Guests with certain medical conditions (e.g., heart conditions, skin sensitivities, pregnancy) should consult their doctor before using these facilities.

10. Treatment-Specific Terms

  • Waxing: Clients should inform Laurabella staff of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or recent skin treatments (e.g., peels, microdermabrasion) before waxing services. Laurabella is not responsible for adverse reactions due to undisclosed conditions.

  • Eye Treatments (Tinting and Perming): A patch test is required at least 24 hours before your first tinting or perming treatment. Clients must inform staff of any eye conditions or sensitivities. Laurabella is not responsible for adverse reactions due to undisclosed conditions.

  • Massage and Facials: Clients should disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities before treatment. Laurabella is not responsible for adverse reactions due to undisclosed conditions. Pregnant clients should consult their doctor before booking a massage or facial treatment.
