In your Indepth consultation on Day 2, we put together the best selection of treatments to help you whilst you are on the retreat.
Whilst in the Sacred Valley you can have a massage every day as well as a choice of Acupuncture or Healing.

A very very special retreat that gives you an extra day to visit Saqsaywaman on 1st August - which is the start of Mother Earth celebrations and is known as “Mother Earth Day”
See the shamans arrive from all the provences around Cusco and surrouding mountains, experience a beautiful ritual at the ancient space - Saqsaywaman.
This retreat has an extra day to accomodate this special anual event, so the first night we stay in Cusco centre and then move to th Sacred Valley after the ritual ends

Upon your arrival in Cusco, we'll be there to greet you, whether it's at the airport, bus station, or a designated meeting point.
In no time, we'll whisk you away to the serene beauty of the Sacred Valley.
Within an hour, you'll find yourself settling into your cozy room at our boutique accommodation. Freshen up and unwind before joining us for a delightful supper where you'll meet your fellow travelers, along with our guide, Evert, and our dedicated team. It's the perfect start to your Peruvian adventure.

Before breakfast - Emma will hold a optional one hour drum circle - Drums will be provided.
Enjoy a tranquil morning as you leisurely stroll around the hotel and explore its lush gardens. Nestled in the Sacred Valley, the setting provides an ideal backdrop for meditation and relaxation.
Throughout the day, Emma will be available giving individual consultations putting together your own bespoke programme to suit your interests and needs throughout your time with us.

Moray salt mines, having been in operation since the Inca era and are considered the second most important site for pink salt production, following the Himalayas. The salt ponds, spread across terraced hillsides, create a stunning visual display and offer a unique insight into the traditional salt extraction methods of the region.

A visit to Pisac offers an opportunitiy to stroll the cobblestone streets of this very traditional town.
Visit the daily artisanal market set in the town centre, this is the best place to buy traditional gifts and souvenirs. offering displays of silver, pottery and textiles.
Pisac town is set below a famous Inca ruins, Evert will guide you through the Inca history, explaining each area, to give you a better understanding of the Incas way of life.

A 30 minute drive to visit a small town frozen in time, with the incredible Inca argricultural ruins,
Visit the artisan market, and see the Inca houses

Stretch your drum and design the patten. make your drum stick. Finished with a ceremony to release its spirit so ready to be used for healing.

Go to an inca pottery school and make your own coloured clay using Inca techniques.
See how the Incas used their pottery, pit firing and traditional inca patterns, their meaning and how they are still used today

Every day there will be chance to learn how to prepare a traditional Andean dish. With this you will be shown how the Incas led the way with agriculture, the knowledge about seeds, nutrition and experiments with flavours, cooking with acids and keeping food fresh. Learn how to prepare chichi, mix Andean herbs and experience traditional Andean cookery skills

Spend a morning learning traditional ways to naturally dieand spin baby Alpaca wool.
During the daytime and evening, there will be time for your treatments, sound bath and sharing stories about your day.

Last drum circle in our little retreat before breakfast.
We set out for Ollantaytambo station to board the glass roof train bound for Machu Picchu, traversing the breathtaking Andes while tracing the path of the majestic Urubamba River. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we are transferred to our hotel and will meet for our evening meal. There will be time for you to look around the market if you wish.

Very early (4am aprox) we will begin our visit to the seventh wonder of the modern world - Machupicchu, the bus up to the site takes 30 minutes from the town centre. The tour will last for 3 hours tour around this fascinating ‘lost city of the Incas’,
There will be time to visit all the known buildings and also explore by yourself. Also Some time for meditation and contemplation .
Return by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a buffet lunch overlooking the river,
In the afternoon you will have chance to rest, walk around the pedestrianised town and artisan market.
We will all meet for a light supper
Please note - No breakfast is available or drinks for the trip. We will supply a bottle of water, but you may want to bring extra and snacks for your personal requirements.
Do remember you passport at hand as you can get it stamped at Machu Picchu

After breakfast - We take the train around the mountain to Cocalmayo.
Within 2 hours we arrive at the beginning of the Cusco jungle at the stunning Andean Hot Springs ‘Cocalmayo’. We will have all day to soak in the waters ( swimsuit required).
Late lunch/ early dinner will be at Colcamayo
Read and relax before the 10 minute route to our hotel in Santa Teresa

Distance from Santa Teresa to Huancacalle is 48 km. Huancacalle to Quillabamba is 43 km.
This morning marks the beginning of our journey to the last Inca City. In 1911, the American explorer Hiram Bingham stumbled upon Machu Picchu, initially believing it to be Vilcabamba, the fabled "Lost City of the Incas." Between the years 1536 and 1573, Vilcabamba served as the sanctuary for the last Inca rulers, shielded from Spanish conquest by its remote jungle location, rendering it inaccessible to the colonial forces.
if we find a suitable area to sit or lay, we will have a guided meditation or some time to relax before heading onto Quillabamba, where an Eco Lodge awaits with a pool.
Dinner - We recommend to order chicken and chips -We get it delivered to our hotel from the town and its the best chicken and chips in Peru! Obviously there are other choices availble.

Embarking on our journey to Pongo de Mainique, we cover a distance of 110 km from Quillabamba to Koribeni, followed by an additional 65 km from Koribeni to Ivochote.
Our journey begins with a fascinating visit to a cocoa plantation, delving into the roots of the renowned Peruvian chocolate. Recognised globally for its significance in sacred ceremonies, the grade of cocoa produced in this region stands unparalleled.
Next on our itinerary is the native community of Koribeni in the Amazon. With a warm welcome, they will share insights into the survival skills of the Amazonian people. After lunch with the community we proceed our onward journey to Ivochote.
As night falls, we settle in Ivochote, where our accommodation, while basic, is impeccably clean and offers a picturesque view of the river amid the deep jungle ambiance. Immerse yourself in the enchanting scents and sounds of the jungle.
Traditional basic Peruvian cuisine for dinner, providing an authentic culinary experience.

After a traditional breakfast. We embark on a boat ride outsifde the hotel to travel through the gorrge - Mainique Pongo.
Here we will have some time for a guided meditation - to bless the river and ask for peace in nature at the "The birth place of the Amazon River".
When we return a traditional Incan lunch before we start the long journey back to Quillabamba.
Covering a distance of 151 km from Ivochote to Quillabamba, we return to the same Eco Lodge where we stayed on day 9.

After a couple of hours of free time to swim, read, and unwind, we prepare to depart for Cusco.
The landscape along the way is breathtaking, offering numerous opportunities to stop and capture the spectacular views. As we journey, we can pause to pick avocados, tangerines, and other delightful treats.
This mountain passage holds a special place in our hearts, serving as a hidden gem that guides us back towards the typical tourist route. En route, we make a stop in Ollantaytambo to enjoy a refreshing drink and stretch our legs before continuing our journey to Cusco.
Once in Cusco we will have dinner together.
Distance between Quillabamba and Cusco is 210 km.

Free morning to walk around the market, or main square or just rest at the hotel.
Afternoon option is our own take on the city tour. This includes visiting the famous Sacsaywaman. Also the he royal house of the sun, the cathredal and a tour around the city.

Embarking on an exciting adventure to explore the latest discovery brought forth by global warming: The captivating mountain of colours is nestled within the community of Vinicunca.
Our journey ascends the mountain on quad bikes, adding an element of thrill and adventure while sparing us the two-hour trek at high altitudes. But if you want to trek, then please ask!
Upon reaching our destination, we see the kaleidoscope of colors that adorn the landscape, a testament to the wonders of nature.
Following our exploration, we gather for a leisurely lunch in Cusi Pata, before our return journey to Cusco.
Anticipating arrival around 5 pm.
As evening falls, we come together for the last time and enjoy a heartfelt goodbye dinner.
Distance from Cusco to Montaña de Colores is 140 km. Round trip 280 km.
